Noah Ohio

Noah Chidiebere Junior Anyanwu Ohio (born 16 January 2003) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for Eredivisie club Utrecht.


Club career


Ohio was born in the Netherlands and joined Manchester United in 2015 before joining Manchester City the following year. In June 2019, he agreed on moving to the youth academy of Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. 


Ohio signed with Eredivisie side Vitesse on an 18-month loan deal in January 2021. He made his professional debut on 27 January 2021, when he came on as a late substitute against VVV-Venlo.


Ohio signed with Standard Liège on a four-year deal on 14 July 2022. On January 30, 2024, he transferred to the English club Hull City on loan. He made his first appearance for the club as he came on as a 74th-minute substitute for Anass Zaroury in a 1-0 win over Millwall in front of their home fans on 3 February. 


On his second appearance on 13 February, coming on as a 67th-minute substitute for Zaroury he scored the winning goal in a 2–1 away match against Rotherham United. In July 2024 Ohio joined Eredivisie side Utrecht on a three-year deal. International career


Ohio, who was born in the Netherlands to Nigerian parents before moving at a tender age to England, is eligible to represent Nigeria, England, and the Netherlands at the international level. Ohio represented Netherlands U15 in 2018 before turning out for both England and the Netherlands at under-16 level the following year. 


He has since represented the Netherlands at U19 and U21 levels, including scoring seven goals in nine U21 European championship qualifying matches.
